Poll: No GOP Candidate Would Beat Obama

In a poll out today, Democratic firm Public Policy Polling matched up Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, and Newt Gingrich with President Obama — and found that none of the GOP candidates would win if the election was held today.

Romney would come closest, with 45 percent to Obama’s 49 percent. The remaining results: Perry (41 percent) vs. Obama (52 percent), Gingrich (41 percent) vs. Obama (53 percent), and Bachmann (39 percent) vs. Obama (53 percent).
