Blame Bush

In 2000, Herman Cain ran for president for 30 days, reports USA Today. And he pinpointed his decision to abandon (temporarily) his presidential ambitions on one man.

“I did that more to see what kind of interest would be generated, and then 30 days after I signed up, George Bush said that he was going to run,” Cain told USAT. “It sucked up all the oxygen, sucked up all the money.”
