Cain’s Early States Plan

“If we finish in the top three in Iowa, in the top three in New Hampshire, we will have achieved our expectations,” Cain told ABC News. “If we finish higher than that, we will have exceeded our expectations because we are fully confident that we can win South Carolina, Florida and some of these other states.”

He also gave his reason for why pundits shouldn’t view him as just a temporary top tier candidate.

“I am Haagen Dazs black walnut ice cream, and I can eat it if every day if I had to,” Cain said. “I’d get sick of Tutti Frutti if that was all I had. So this is why I don’t believe I’m going to be a flavor of the month because we’ve got a lot of substance relative to every one of these major issues.”

Cain classified Mitt Romney as “plain vanilla” and Rick Perry as “some more plain vanilla.”
