Reactions to Palin’s Decision

Michele Bachmann in an interview with Greta Van Sustern last night:

Well, she’s a very important voice. She’s a friend of mine, and I wish her the best. I think she has an exciting, wonderful political life in front of her, and I think she’ll be with us for a long time in an important way. And I welcomed her to the race, if she was going to come. And I think she’ll have a very important voice through 2012.

Newt Gingrich in a Fox News interview (via GOP12):

I think any candidate would like to have her endorsement, but I don’t expect her to jump in in the near future. She is a citizen in her own right, she is a force in her own right, and I think that she will have an impact by talking out on issues, by talking out on specific things.

Jon Huntsman on The View (via Politico 2012):

Everybody who has anything to do with politics knew she wasn’t going to get in the race. She has a profit proposition; she’s got a business. She makes money doing what she’s doing. Who on earth is going to leave that for the uncertainty of presidential politics?
