Obama’s Broken Promise

Tweets from 25 Americans who didn’t get to keep their health-care plans.

One of President Obama’s key sayings in trying to tamp down concerns about the Affordable Care Act was that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” But many Americans are learning that the president’s assurance was a hollow one as they receive letters from their health-care providers informing them of cancellations and rising costs.

In the past few weeks, unhappy consumers have taken to Twitter to share pictures of letters with the not-so-welcomed news from their insurance companies. Here are 25 examples of Americans who have been hit by Obamacare with either sticker shock or termination of their plans.
