Christie: ‘Political Advice From People Who Ran The Romney Campaign Is Probably Something Nobody Should Give A Darn About’

On This Week, Governor Chris Christie addressed allegations presented in “Double Down: Game Change 2012″ that made headlines earlier this week. The book, which chronicles the 2012 presidential race, includes a portion about how Mitt Romney chose his running mate that suggests that the dirt Romney’s people found regarding the New Jersey governor would render him unelectable in a national contest.

Chris Christie was not impressed. When host George Stephanopoulos asked him about the book’s allegations, he shot back with harsh words for Romney’s people.

“Geirge, listen, first off, political advice from people who ran the Romney campaign is probably something nobody should give a darn about, so let’s start with that,” he said.

He added that he’s been vetted, he’ll be vetted if he runs for office again, and that that’s just a fact of life for people running for office.
