As Warm Spell Hits Sochi, Global Warmists Decide Weather IS Climate

Beach resort lined with palm trees mysteriously lacks snow

Global Warming believers are getting a much-needed boost from above-freezing temperatures in the Black Sea beach resort of Sochi.

Athletes in Sochi for the Winter Olympiad are eating ice cream cones, palm trees are swaying in the breeze, Russia has stockpiled snow for the events, and the snow outside has melted, delaying the men’s halfpipe competition and ski jumpers’ practice.

Settled scientists on Twitter have pointed to warm weather in the sub-tropical city as evidence of global warming, with some predicting disaster for this year’s Winter Olympics.

Sochi is situated on the shore of the Black Sea, near the same latitude as Florence, Italy. The average high in Sochi in February is around 50 degrees and the average low is around 37. The temperature has gone as high as 61 degrees Fahrenheit during this year’s games.

Although Global Warming orthodoxy holds that weather is not climate, believers have decided to make an exception for the signs and portents coming from Sochi:
