Watch Customs Officers Hassle Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe

In August of last year, investigative journalist James O’Keefe crossed the Rio Grande River into the United States unimpeded — while dressed as Osama bin Laden. The viral video, released by O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, found its way into a Senate Homeland Security Committee meeting and thoroughly embarrassed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Now, CPB definitely takes notice of O’Keefe.

Since August 2014, O’Keefe has been stopped by U.S. Customs officers for additional inspection six times. In a new video released exclusively to National Review, O’Keefe records the fifth and sixth encounters — returning from Greece in June, and embarking on the 2015 National Review cruise in July — and shows that, when James O’Keefe is in line, U.S. Customs and Border Protection snaps into action.
