Hillary Super PAC President: Rich Lowry ‘Almost Treasonous’ for Criticizing Obama

'It's like you are cheering on Putin.'

The president of the Hillary Clinton–affiliated super PAC Correct the Record, Brad Woodhouse, today called National Review editor Rich Lowry “almost treasonous” for criticizing President Obama.

Responding to a Bill Hemmer question about whether Vladimir Putin stuck “it in our eye” in Syria, Lowry replied, “Of course he did. Putin is humiliating President Obama and enjoying it.”

“Russians love the idea of defying and pushing back against the United States,” Lowry continued. “So this is an enormous benefit, wonderful play for Vladimir Putin kicking around president of the United States, who is passive and weak, let’s face it.”

“Rich, you sound like an apologist an apologist for Putin and almost treasonous!” Woodhouse replied. “I mean seriously; it’s like you are cheering on Putin.”

Woodhouse then went on to attack President Bush for “sucking his thumb in the Oval Office” while Russia “overran the Georgians in 2008.”
