On February 26, National Review writer Michael Brendan Dougherty spoke with Charlie Cooke on an exclusive, members-only NRPLUS conference call.

Michael and Charlie dove into cancel culture, addressing the hypocrisy of the woke mob. They pointed out how the two institutions that are supposed to be the most concerned with free inquiry, open debate, and tolerance — the media and academia — are increasingly the least tolerant of these freedoms, and they discussed what that will mean for the future generation of leaders.

They also tackled questions submitted by your fellow members, including one of the most popular: What can we do to stop cancel culture? Charlie said the starting point for any pushback is laughter and mockery. But more seriously, Charlie and Michael argued that the most important thing we can do is refuse to give in.

Listen to a discussion of this and more in the members-only recording above.

We look forward to seeing you on the next call.
