Shelby and Rich discussed the current state of race relations in our country. They analyzed the possible causes of the growing racial divide, including the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, the expanding reach of the woke Left, and what Shelby considers to be one of the biggest causes — white guilt.
But is it truly guilt, or more the fear of being dubbed racist?
They also explored who stands to gain most from a racial divide in the country and the ways in which people use racial tension to assume power.
Taking questions from NRPLUS members, Shelby and Rich discussed critical race theory and Steele’s famously canceled documentary, What Killed Michael Brown. Shelby also offered a glimpse of his life growing up during segregation and explained how that experience has influenced his current perspective on race relations.
