Ron Johnson's team just released a statement claiming victory and attacking the media's hesitance to call the race:

NOVEMBER 9, 2022

“The corporate media is refusing to call a race that is over.

“The votes are in. In all Democrat strongholds, municipalities are reporting 100% of wards are in and counted. There are some counties that have anywhere from 3-10% of the votes outstanding. These localities represent areas where we are winning by over 60%.

“There is no path mathematically for Lt. Gov. Barnes to overcome his 27,374 vote deficit. This race is over.

“Truth has prevailed over lies and the politics of personal destruction. I want to thank my family and everyone who supported me and worked so hard to save this U.S. Senate seat. I will do everything I can to help make things better for Wisconsinites and to heal and unify our country.”

Republican Adam Laxalt has taken the lead over incumbent Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in the race for U.S. Senate in Nevada. Laxalt is currently leading by more than 22,000 votes with 75 percent of the vote counted. The race could be decided by how many outstanding mail-in ballots there are left to be counted in Clark County.

Looks like Johnson will win by that ~27k figure, according to local news outlets.

Johnson's team just canceled a press conference scheduled for this morning. Dig in folks, things are getting spicy in Dairyland's senate race.

Johnson retains a ~27k vote lead over Barnes with 95% of the vote in; the New York Times maintains it will be a narrow Johnson victory. Milwaukee has its last decile awaiting a count. It's fixing to be a classic Wisconsin photo finish that could quickly turn litigious.
