We don’t agree with the critics on the left or the right that the United States is irredeemably tainted by its supposedly flawed Founding principles. We don’t think our best days are behind us. We don’t believe that most Americans, for all our discontents, are waiting for politicians to transform our country or to “burn it all down.”
Perhaps most counterculturally these days, we trust that many Americans are looking for an oasis of good sense, steady perspective, and intelligent debate — not just for clickbait and instructions on whom to hate.

Our causes — including the right to life, a strong defense, school choice, immigration enforcement, the Constitution that Americans ratified, and above all, telling the truth as best we can divine it — endure. But all of the work we do costs money.
