The Online Left Just Can’t Process the WHCD Assassination Attempt

T he White House Correspondents’ Dinner assassination attempt? Of course, it was an op. A false flag! All fake, just like the others. Someone on Reddit posted a picture of the shooter from his Instagram account and said it was AI. The pants were wrong, the stool in the background looked odd. What if the guy was completely invented and we’re being played? You have to ask why. Well, the answers are obvious.

It’s to distract from the Epstein files. Yes, because the entire country is buzzing about the Epstein files. Guys, I thought the Iran war was a distraction from the Epstein files. Oh, it was, but that’s dragging on into an interminable Vietnam quagmire with which everyone is bored. They needed something new, or a New York Times editor would say “slow news week; let’s do another search for ‘Trump’ in the Epstein pdfs, but this time all lowercase — holy cow, 2,478 hits! Call the composing room, we’re remaking page 1! Johnson, start typing, I’ll dictate. Ahem. ‘In a stunning new development, a fresh look at — hold on, wait a minute, turn up the TV, what’s going on?” And so they’re obligated to report on the “assassination attempt,” and their valiant attempt to get out the Epstein news is once more pushed aside.

It’s intended to get everyone behind the big, new, beautiful White House ballroom. Apparently, it polls poorly, which is no surprise; the polltakers probably ask, “Do you support building a garish, gilded structure roughly half the size of the building they used to put together the Saturn V rocket, so Donald Trump can have parties where orphans are forced to wear early 20th-century newsboy costumes and the billionaire guests get to kick the kids around and strike them with diamond-tipped walking sticks?”

Well — gosh no, I don’t think that’s okay, I’d be a no on that.

The “assassination attempt” was Trump’s way of ginning up support for a ballroom. Now, everyone is supposed to think that hotels are security risks. But a White House ballroom the Secret Service can control completely. Someone trying to rush the ballroom and do his part for Our Democracy would probably be perforated ballistically before he got too close. (Note: If it is not built, and there is an attempt on the next Democratic president’s life at a press banquet at a hotel, it will be Trump’s fault for using inflammatory rhetoric about his political foes six years before.)

The day after the “assassination attempt,” the usual ghouls fired up their social apps and expressed disappointment that it hadn’t happened — you know, IT. Wink wink. A few lamented the shooter’s aim or lack of planning. When internet sleuths deduced their identity, you were not surprised to find they were elementary-school teachers. Or you were, if you remembered your grade school teacher as a nice lady who led you in the Pledge of Allegiance and did not remind you, when the bell rang, to hope for the lurid death of JFK. I mean, maybe Mrs. Powers at McKinley Elementary in Fargo went home and made Super 8 videos of herself talking about her glee over Kennedy’s fate in Dallas, and she mailed it to the local theaters in the hope they’d play it between the cartoon and the main feature, but I don’t think so.

All of this is possible in the mind of the Reddit-brained citizen, who is smarter than everyone else and doesn’t accept the spoon-fed narratives. Also, too bad the guy didn’t succeed. Also, free Luigi! So say our supposed moral betters.
