Elliott Abrams

Elliott Abrams was special representative for Iran in the Trump administration. He chairs the Vandenberg Coalition and is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Elliott Abrams is a senior fellow for Mideast studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. He served as deputy assistant to the president and deputy national security advisor in the administration of President George W. Bush, where he supervised U.S. policy in the Middle East for the White House. He was educated at Harvard College, the London School of Economics, and Harvard Law School. He is the author of Tested by Zion: the Bush Administration and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (2013), among other books.
