Peter Wood is president of the National Association of Scholars in New York City. He is the author of Diversity: The Invention of a Concept (2003) and A Bee in the Mouth: Anger in America Today (October 2006). He previously served as provost of the King's College (2005-2007)and the president’s chief of staff (1996-2002) and associate provost (1991-2002) at Boston University.
