Today President Obama nominated Alaska Supreme Court Justice Morgan Christen to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Justice Christen obtained her current post when elevated by then-Governor Sarah Palin. Christen was one of two potential picks forwarded by the Alaska Judicial Council to Governor Palin for her selection in 2009.
