Yesterday, the Senate confirmed district court judge Denny Chin to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Some Senate Republicans had raised concerns about Chin’s decision striking down registration for sex offenders (which was reversed on appeal), but the vote was unanimous nonetheless.
