A Deal on Judges?

The AP reports that Senate Democrats and Republicans have reached a deal on judicial nominees.  According to the report, Senate Republicans will consent to confirmation of at least 19 of President Obama’s judicial nominees, and Senate Democrats will agree not to bring four of President Obama’s most controversial nominees to a vote.  The four nominees are Goodwin Liu, nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and district court nominees Edward Chen, Louis B. Butler Jr. and John J. McConnell, Jr.
