I’m saddened by the news of the death of Doug Kendall, founder of the progressive Constitutional Accountability Center, at the much too young age of 51. Doug and I of course had significant jurisprudential differences, but in my conversations and other exchanges with him I always found him to be intelligent, thoughtful, civil, and engaged. May he rest in peace, and may his widow and daughter be comforted in their grief.
