Fifth Circuit Nominee Mike Wallace

President Bush’s recent nomination of Mississippi lawyer Mike Wallace to a seat on the Fifth Circuit has generated some opposition from the usual suspects. This op-ed by former Mississippi justice Reuben Anderson, a current law partner of Wallace’s and (not incidentally, given the racial nature of some of the charges against Wallace) an African-American, argues that the President “could not have picked a finer person or a better lawyer.”
