Good News from Georgia

Kudos to Governor Sonny Perdue for making two strong appointments to the Georgia Court of Appeals today. Keith Blackwell and Stephen Dillard will be appointed to fill vacancies on the Georgia Court of Appeals created by the retirement of Judge G. Alan Blackburn and the death of Judge Debra Bernes.

Congratulations are also due to Dillard and Blackwell, two active members of the conservative legal movement. It’s good to see another conservative Governor who understands the importance and value of making judicial appointments a priority.
