Hamdan, Again

But this time with an outcome in accord with the recent Military Commissions Act. Judge James Robertson of the U.S. District Court for D.C. dismissed Salim Ahmed Hamdan’s case from his court yesterday for lack of jurisdiction to proceed with a habeas petition. (The ruling is here in PDF; link via How Appealing.) Now perhaps the executive can prosecute a war without so many lawyers underfoot.
