I see that John Miller has linked to a Snopes entry correcting the common mistake (including mine just below) that today is “Presidents’ Day.” It seems that the official title is still, thank goodness, “Washington’s Birthday.” More can be found here on the curious history of this business. Now we just have to get the calendar printers to get it right.
