In a Washington Post op-ed, Fourth Circuit judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III offers his advice on Fourth Circuit nominations. While I agree with much of what Judge Wilkinson writes, I question whether it is fitting for a sitting judge to volunteer his views in public on such a matter.
