Judiciary Approves Judges

Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved three appellate nominees, Neil Gorsuch and Jerome Holmes for the Tenth Circuit, and Bobby Shepherd for the Eighth Circuit.  Yet for some reason, ConfirmThem.com reports , the nomination of George Mason University law professor Kimberley Moore to the Federal Circuit was held over.  I expect she will receive a committee vote on Wednesday and, because I know of no real controversy over her nomination, she will be approved.

Jonathan H. Adler is the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. His books include Business and the Roberts Court and Marijuana Federalism: Uncle Sam and Mary Jane.
