Glenn Reynolds notice a little boomlet for Ninth Circuit Judge Alex Kozinski, a libertarian-leaning Reagan nominee. (See here and here.) Kozinski certainly has the intellectual chops for the job, and he’s the sort of nominee that many academics would like to see, but I think I can safely say that it will not happen.
