Just a note to readers: I expect my own blogging to be very light through Labor Day, in part because I’m guessing that not much will be happening in the Bench Memos portfolio and in part because I’ll be catching up on my institutional responsibilities at the Ethics and Public Policy Center (and grabbing a bit of vacation). I’ll probably wait until September to offer some reflections on broader lessons to be drawn from the Sotomayor confirmation process.
