More Bar Dues

Miers’ failure to pay her D.C. Bar dues was an understandable, and excuasable, oversight, as attorneys working for the federal government are not required to keep their D.C. Bar status current. But that can’t explain Miers’ failure to keep current in Texas. That’s right. She failed to pay her Texas Bar dues at one point too, according to this report. Granted, this was some time ago (1989), but it’s yet another oversight.
