For some reason, the Ninth Circuit’s public-information office has chosen to feature on the Ninth Circuit’s website photos of a same-sex-marriage “rally” that it says was “prompt[ed]” by Judge Reinhardt’s ruling against Prop 8.
It’s this sort of partisan action by court staffers that reasonably fuels speculation that the assignment of the Prop 8 appeal to a terrible panel (see update here) may not have been random.
