A super PAC supporting the reelection of North Carolina Supreme Court justice Paul Newby has released the creative ad embedded below. I will probably have more to say about that race in the next few weeks, but for now I will note that this election will determine the ideological direction of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Justice Newby, the conservative incumbent, is being challenged by Sam Ervin, grandson of the famous former U.S. senator with the same name.
