To take a break from exposing inanities, I’ll call attention to (1) this excellent Wall Street Journal op-ed from two years ago in which David Rivkin and Lee Casey explain that DOMA’s definition of marriage for purposes of federal law is constitutional, and (2) Matthew Spalding’s “Marriage and Faux Federalism,” which explains how George Will “gets his history and constitutional arguments wrong” on DOMA.
