President George W. Bush’s Judicial-Nominations Process

Josh Blackman provides a very interesting summary of a recent Federalist Society panel discussion of President George W. Bush’s judicial-nominations process. The panel, moderated by Priscilla Owen (a Bush appointee to the Fifth Circuit), featured Harriet Miers, Leonard Leo, Rachel Brand, and Reginald Brown.

The next Republican president would benefit considerably from reading and reflecting on the panelists’ observations.
