Today President Obama nominated Judge Patty Shwartz, a federal magistrate judge in New Jersey, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. On Monday, the Senate unanimously confirmed South Carolina’s Judge Henry Floyd to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
