Sotomayor Hearing—Cornyn’s Round 2

Senator Cornyn presented Judge Sotomayor a list of inconsistencies and contradictions between her testimony and her speeches about the role of judges.  He also probed her wordplay that the Supreme Court never makes law but merely interprets it.  Largely meaningless responses.

On the campaign-finance issue, Cornyn also asked Sotomayor about the difference between a campaign contribution and a bribe.

Cornyn asked Sotomayor about Martin Luther King Jr.’s colorblindness ideal.  Sotomayor said she thinks that every American agrees with it.  Oh, really?
