Despite getting what he plainly regarded as some very unsatisfactory answers from Judge Sotomayor, Senator Graham signaled clearly that he would vote for her based on his seemingly unfounded hopes about how she’d be as a justice.
Sotomayor claimed not even to be familiar with the extreme positions that PRLDEF took in abortion cases. Very difficult to believe.
