Supreme Court to Review Obama Immigration Program

This morning the Supreme Court announced that it will grant the government’s request for review of the Fifth Circuit’s decision in Texas v. United States, which called a halt to the expanded versions of the programs that license illegal immigrations. My writeup of the Fifth Circuit’s decision is here. (Because the government lost below and thus is the petitioner before the Supreme Court, the case will henceforth proceed under the name United States v. Texas.) 

Update: In what may be a good sign, the Court ordered the parties to brief the additional question of “Whether the Guidance violates the Take Care Clause of the Constitution, Art. II, §3.”
