Another Gulf War Begins

One of the many rights less endangered now that the judiciary, from the Supreme Court on down, won’t be filled with Hillary Clinton picks is the right not to have your property taken from you by the government without just compensation. I want to give a shout-out, then, to a new takings-clause case being brought by Pacific Legal Foundation and ably described by George Leef, here. The generosity and inclusive spirit of PLF are underscored by the fact that, even though it is named after that West Coast ocean, it is happy to litigate on behalf of the owners of beachfront property in Northwest Florida.
