Last week, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker announced that he had appointed Circuit Judge Rebecca Bradley to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, filling a vacancy left by the late Judge Ralph Adam Fine. This is an excellent appointment. Judge Bradley (not to be confused with newly re-elected Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley) has a wealth of professional accomplishments and was chosen, most importantly, because she “applies the law as written.”
