Yet More Evidence, If Any Were Needed, of Judge Sotomayor’s Quota Mentality

About a dozen or so pages into the latest batch of documents sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, one finds the minutes of a November 30, 1989, meeting of two committees (including the affirmative-action committee) of the board of directors of the State of New York Mortgage Agency. They state that Judge Sotomayor “considered the 8% figure [for participation by “minority and women based” enterprises in Agency contracts] to be abysmal and requested information of minority percentages in various segments of the marketplace.”
