And Gingrich Plays It Exactly Right

Newt Gingrich yesterday called the Cain controversy a “disgusting” media “witch hunt.” Which is exactly the thing to say if you ultimately hope to win over Cain’s supporters. Also, Gingrich has to be delighted at the Perry campaign getting caught up in a fight with Cain over the leak of the story. Our poll on the home page has half of people believing the Perry camp leaked the story. Newt was already gaining, and the way this is playing out can only help him.
