Bill Could Be ‘Tweaked’, Vote Again Delayed

The latest is that leadership is going to “tweak” the Boehner bill to get to 216. How? We don’t know. We’re hearing more cuts to Pell grants. We’re hearing undoing defense cuts. And we’re hearing a reformulation of the BBA.

Will there still be a vote tonight? Here’s a message that just went out from the Whip’s office: “Thank you for your patience. We hope to reach a decision soon on the schedule for the rest of the night.”
