The Ryan pick cheered me up enough to toss fifty into the NRO hat. Bet most readers don’t realize they can donate any time, not just during fundraisers. Although Ryan’s proposals might not be in my own narrow, unenlightened self-interest, he has the right combination of intelligible principles, rather than the weasel syndrome that is more common nowadays.
