Dean on Cruz: ‘God Help Us’

Former Vermont governor Howard Dean, like many Democrats, is dismayed by the ascent of Senator Ted Cruz. “God help us if he ever becomes anything more than a senator from Texas,” Dean said on CNN’s State of the Union. Dean, a physician, added that Cruz “doesn’t know anything about health care,” and he called the senator’s push to defund Obamacare a “crazy idea from the far right.”
