Two Ominous Weeks for Free Speech

Corporate power is the theme of a special edition of The Liberty Files. In a two week stretch, Google fired an employee who made a good faith argument about diversity, and a coalition of tech companies worked together to drive a white supremacist site off the internet. Should we be troubled? Neither incident represented an example of government censorship. Neither incident implicated the First Amendment. But if we want our culture to value free speech, there’s ample cause for concern.
