Gerson vs. Scully

One point about that Washington Post report over the weekend: It notes that John McConnell did not return phone calls. Scully says in his article that Gerson took credit for work that McConnell and Scully had done. Other administration figures have gone to bat for Gerson. The fact that McConnell didn’t take an early opportunity to do so, I think, tends to buttress Scully’s side of this argument.
