Girl Power: Bachmann Raises $5.4 Million in Q3

On the heels of Sharron Angle’s $14 million haul comes news that Minnesota incumbent Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.) raise $5.4 million in the third quarter, which may “smash . . . a congressional fundraising record for a three-month period.”

“I am so grateful to the more than 80,000 people who have contributed to my campaign this quarter,”  Bachmann said in a statement Wednesday. “Their support is truly overwhelming and I am blessed to havetheir support in my campaign to represent Minnesota.”
