On Hillary Clinton’s Age

Republicans seem to be looking forward to attacking Hillary Clinton as a tired, old candidate in 2016. Over at Bloomberg View, Margaret Carlson and I discuss whether age is a legitimate issue and whether the Republican strategy is likely to work.

On Twitter (I’m @rameshponnuru), some people are saying we’d never ask if a male candidate were too old. This is false. The question has been asked of many male candidates: Reagan, Dole, McCain. (It was an exit-poll question in the Dole race.)
