How Ovide Got His Momentum

How is this New Hampshire race as close as it is? The Supreme Court may have something to do with it.

As I mentioned Tuesday, the Judicial Crisis Network ran a $50,000 radio ad campaign throughout the state on Kelly Ayotte’s statement that she would have voted for Sonia Sotomayor for SCOTUS. Many may point to the life issue, but with a lot of he said, she said happening, I’m not sure that’s a clear case to make. The National Right to Life Committee was making the case early and often for Ayotte. Despite questions raised about how she handled parental notification and Planned Parenthood, she was still being hailed as a heroine by some pro-lifers. But Sotomayor was a simple argument to make. And the JCN did do it. And Sotomayor SCOTUS concerns do cover pro-life concerns but others, too, including the Second Amendment, and the role of the judiciary, of course.

The radical anti-gun Brady Campaign endorsed Sotomayor.

So did Kelly Ayotte.

So you may not know what Kelly Ayotte stands for … but now you know who she stands with.

Tell her it’s time to stand up for judges who represent New Hampshire’s

values …not Barack Obama’s.

We know it wasn’t Sarah Palin who drove Ovid’s last-minute surge. And saying it was attributable to abortion isn’t a clean argument. It may just have been judges.
