John Boehner on CNN Last Night

Someone at 60 Minutes or a producer who wants to make the next successful solid magazine-type show ought to notice this: Kathleen Parker’s interview with Speaker of the House John Boehner last night. That interview was as close as you can get to having dinner with John Boehner on TV. He was relaxed. He was candid. She made him comfortable to be. She’s an excellent interviewer. You really get to know the subject better when the interview is hers. I wish her current show allowed for these talents to flourish more. Because they’re a real contribution to not only good TV, but human interest in public policy.
